Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered using infrastructure provided by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States (“Vercel”). When you access the website, technically necessary access data are processed. These may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested URL or file, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system, volume of data transferred and HTTP status code.

Processing is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably, diagnose errors and prevent misuse and attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the reliable, secure and technically functional provision of our website.

Vercel processes data as a processor. Data may be transferred to the United States. Vercel states that it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses may additionally be used as a transfer safeguard. For more information, see Vercel’s Privacy Notice and Data Processing Addendum.

Server-log data are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer required to operate and secure the website. They are retained for longer only where this is necessary to investigate a specific security incident or comply with a legal obligation.

Where your enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. In all other cases, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the appropriate handling of business enquiries.

We delete the data once the enquiry has been fully resolved, unless statutory retention duties or legitimate interests in continued storage, such as the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, require otherwise.

Please do not send particularly sensitive case documents or large volumes of confidential material by unencrypted email. Contact us first so that we can agree an appropriate secure transfer method.
